Make sense of inconsistent or hard-to-change eating patterns
Understand why your clients can do something one day and struggle with the same thing another day.

NANCP™ Certification
Neuronutrition Certification with NANCP equips you to better support your clients' brain and mental health by integrating the overlooked relationship between nutrition and the nervous system.

Your clients are living with the effects of complex trauma, neurodivergence, chronic health conditions, and a highly sensitive body. This can cause their relationship with food to feel complex and nutrition to become overwhelming.
Nutrition can influence:
Which can change:
Neuronutrition Certification with NANCP trains you to identify these critical but often overlooked two-way relationships, determine how they influence your clients, and translate those insights into better client outcomes.

The National Academy of Neuronutrition Certified Practitioner™ (NANCP™) program was built around the relationships between nutrition, the nervous system, nutritional behavior, mental and brain health, and lived experience.
NANCP™ is more than just a credential—it's fundamental shift in your client approach. With Neuronutrition Certification, you’ll be a practitioner who:
Guides clients who feel “stuck” with clarity, safety and systems thinking
Sees nervous system functions behind behaviors labeled as noncompliance
Names what others couldn't and explains patterns that seem unexplainable
Improves outcomes and increases effectiveness with complex cases
Integrates emerging science with lived experience
Leads with insight, not instruction, so you’re the practitioner others turn to
Closes the gap between nutritional science and nutritional behavior
Guides clients toward restoring trust in their bodies
Curiosity has always led me somewhere new. Neuronutrition is the place where all of those paths finally converge.

NANCP™ is designed for compassionate, curious, and intellectually-driven health, mental health, nutrition, wellness, and medical practitioners who want to bring neuronutrition into the work they already do.
NANCP™ gives you the neuronutrition training to expand what you can recognize, understand, and address within your role and scope of practice.

“I’ve seen, both personally and professionally, how trauma impacts the human body, brain, and mind. What we eat, and what happens to us, profoundly affects our brain. Neuronutrition can play a vital role in healing trauma. I believe this work has the power to truly change lives.”

Developed by the National Academy of Neuronutrition, the NANCP™ curriculum brings together the science and professional application of neuronutrition into one progressive training experience that you won’t find anywhere else.

“Stepping into the National Academy of Neuronutrition has been one of the most validating and transformative experiences of my professional and personal life. I found Timothy online by chance, but what his work, and this Academy, has given me is anything but accidental. What I had always felt intuitively in my body and what I had spent years navigating through trial and error, the NANCP™ program articulated with clarity, precision, and scientific grounding.”

“Neuronutrition strengthens my work by allowing me to address behavior change at the level of the nervous system and biology, not just mindset. It gives me the scientific framework to explain cravings, emotional eating, restriction, and fatigue as biological signals—not personal failures. This removes shame and restores agency. The training allows me to move beyond just 'what to eat' and support clients in understanding 'why their bodies respond the way they do.' It also provides practical tools to regulate their nervous systems alongside nutritional support.”
